What information Modellane collects, how long generation inputs and outputs are kept, who they are shared with, and your rights.
About this policy
This policy explains what information of yours is processed when you use Modellane's website, dashboard and API. The service is provided by Modellane; for any question or request about your data, write to info@usemodellane.com.
When we change this policy, the date at the top of the page changes too.
What we collect
Account: if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile photo link Google shares with us; for an account without email, your username and password. Your password is stored as a hash, never as plain text. Your profile also holds your project name and notification preferences.
Usage and payments: which model you ran and when, the job's status, the billed units and the charge; the amount, currency and date of your top-ups. Your card details never reach us; they stay with the payment provider.
Session: when you sign in, your IP address and browser information are stored with the session record. To limit abuse we use your IP address only in hashed form, in request counters.
Your generation inputs and outputs
Your prompt, parameters, uploaded files and the generated outputs are kept for 7 days and then deleted together. This content is not written to logs or to any other table; we keep no permanent prompt log.
You can delete a generation earlier from the gallery: its output and prompt are deleted right away, and the charge record stays.
To run the generation, your request (prompt, parameters and files) is sent to a model infrastructure provider. How long that provider keeps it depends on its own rules.
How long we keep data
Generation inputs and outputs are kept for 7 days, per-request usage records (without prompt content) for 180 days. Daily usage and charge totals and payment records are accounting records and are kept without a time limit.
Your account information stays until you delete your account.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share only what is needed to run the service with these service providers: model infrastructure providers (your generation request), a payment provider (your payment), a hosting and infrastructure service (the site, database and files) and an email service (the emails you send to the support address).
If you sign in with Google, your identity is verified through Google. These providers' servers may be located outside Turkey.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only the cookies that keep you signed in and one preference cookie that remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open or closed. Preferences such as theme and gallery view stay in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to us.
We use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tools.
Your rights
From the profile page you can correct your information and download a copy of your data as a JSON file. You can also delete your account from the same page; deletion cannot be undone.
Deletion removes your profile, sessions, usage history and generated files, and revokes your API keys. Daily totals and payment records are kept for accounting, but in our records they are no longer linked to your name or email address. Any remaining balance is not refunded.
