Refund policy
When a request is not charged, how to request a refund of a balance top-up, how monthly plans are handled and how a refund affects your balance.
Requests that are not charged
If a request fails before any output reaches you, it is not charged and the reserved amount returns to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask for this.
If the final charge is lower than the amount reserved when the request started, the difference also returns to your balance.
A request that you cancel or disconnect after output has started is charged for what was used, as the terms of service describe, and is not refunded.
Refunding a balance top-up
To request a refund of a top-up, write to info@usemodellane.com with the date and amount of the payment. We review each request; an approved refund is paid back through the payment processor that took the payment.
Top-up balance does not expire; any top-up balance you have not used stays on your account.
Monthly plans
You can cancel a plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the current period and does not renew. Partial or unused periods are not refunded, and unused plan balance expires at the end of each period.
If a plan payment is refunded or charged back, the plan ends and the remaining plan balance of that period is removed from your account.
How a refund affects your balance
The balance added by the refunded payment is taken back from your account; a partial refund takes back the balance in the same proportion.
If you have spent the balance in the meantime, your balance can go negative. You cannot make new requests with a negative balance; you can continue once your balance is sufficient again.
Payment disputes
If you dispute a payment through your bank and the dispute is decided in your favour, the same rule applies: the balance added by the amount paid back to you is taken back from your account.
If you delete your account
Deleting your account does not refund your balance; any remaining balance is lost with the deletion. If you want your balance refunded, write to us before deleting your account.
